• B3944 – Bobrick Large Paper Towel & Waste ClassicSeries® | Recessed

Situated in Darling Harbour, Sydney, the intersection of Sydney’s academic, cultural and technology precincts, International Convention Centre Sydney, or the ICC Sydney, is Australia’s second-largest fully-integrated convention, exhibition and entertainment centre, holding 70 meeting rooms, three theatres and two formal ballrooms across its flexible space of 250,000 square metres.

The ICC has become a hub for the generation of new ideas, explored through Art and Science exhibitions. It’s home to several of Sydney’s best restaurants and bars including Betty’s Burgers and Concrete Co, Fratelli Fresh, Guzman y Gomez Mexican Taqueria and more. Its reconstruction, beginning in 2014, warranted a new contemporary design and amenities to match, which RBA could provide for at a large scale. RBA’s aim with this project was to cater for high quantities of users, often at the same time, whilst maintaining a high-end, contemporary atmosphere of the design. In doing so, RBA will provide Bobrick Appliances that best suit.

As a result, RBA supplied Bobrick Large ClassicSeries® Recessed Convertible Paper Towel Dispenser and Waste Receptacle, or the B3944. Made of 304-type Stainless Steel, the unit is Food-Grade in nature, meaning it is corrosion resistant and remains difficult for microbial to adhere to, ensuring optimal hygiene and extending the life of the unit. As a recessed unit, the B3944 utilises less space thus catering for higher traffic. Featuring a rounded towel tray with a hemmed opening to dispense paper towels without tearing, a paper towel capacity of 600C-fold or 800 multifold paper towels, and a waste capacity of 45L, nominal maintenance is needed while still functioning under high usage. The unit offers an optional Bobrick TowelMate®, also provided by RBA, allowing for even easier dispensing of paper towels by assisting in single towel release and avoidance of tear. With a Satin Finish, the unit blends into the Washroom amenities as a subtle addition.
